I am eating REAL FOOD that I cook for my family. I do not need to cook a special meal for myself (become a short order cook). Here's a breakdown of some of the things I've been eating, their point values and how it all works.
With my Weight Watchers program I'm given 26 points per day. I can earn extra points be exercising and add those points to my daily allowance. I don't do this because I want the exercise to really count! I am also given 48 extra points to spend throughout the week. This is great if you want to have a pizza night or some high calorie treat.
I find most days the 26 points is sufficient. In fact, yesterday I only used 23 points! It's all about making the right choices and being accountable for what you are eating.

New Years Eve Splurge. Dec 31st marked my 6th day on WeightWatchers.ca. I was careful not to use my extra points all week so I could splurge. After all, New Year's only comes once a year! I was pretty careful for most of the day because I WAS GOING TO DRINK A PINA COLADA (yes, it was so exciting I have to scream and tell you I was on Weight Watchers and drank a Pina colada)
Pina Colada with Coconut Rum=7 Points
Spanakopita pizza 7 Points
Homemade pigs in a blanket 6 Points
I ate this food and I wasn't cheating. But..... I have to admit, I was totally wondering if my weight loss would turn into a weight gain.
