It all starts with Yes! Family fun and Giveaway

P & G has a new campaign called "It All Starts with Yes!". I think it's fabulous.   As a parent, I know sometimes it's hard to drop what we are doing, say yes and have some fun.

I'm a big believer in this concept.  If you are a regular reader of my blog you have probably read my affordable family fun posts. 

What happens when I say yes to fun at my house?  Lots!

Give the kids a digital camera and let them snap away.  If you have a pet there will be lots of pictures of them!  There may even be a few that are really good like this one my daughter took

 Have a BBQ and play outdoor games like badminton and bocce

Cook up some fun! If your kids are older you can give them a basket of ingredients and let their imagination run wild. This was a dinner I will never forget.  Natural wieners(from a local farm), peppers, olives, apples, baked beans and noodles.

Yes! Challenge 

Count the number of times you say ‘no’ in any given week or weekend, and then turn them into “Yes” opportunities. The result: more fun activities together such as baking, games, and arts and crafts!
