2013 Cut-A-Thon for Parkinson’s

Parkinson Societies of Ontario will be hosting their annual Cut-a-thon event on April 7th, 2013 across salons in the province. The event has been active for over 20 years. Stylists donate their time and their talents. Joico is the Ontario-wide sponsor. The company donates all the supplies for the event which includes the products for the stylists to use and gift bags for participants and stylists to take home.

All participants receive a cut, style, dry, and Joico gift bag for $40 or less (depending on the location this represents a significant discount). 100% of that amount is directed to the charity. Due to the generosity of our participating salons and their talented stylists, all funds raised through Cut a Thon for Parkinson’s are put towards research, advocacy, education and support services for Canadians living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.

A full list of the participating salons can be found here:  In Toronto, Prairie Girl will be donating cupcakes at the event as well. That is not all! The Parkinson Societies has partnered with Deerhurst Resort for a giveaway. To enter do an online booking for a Toronto salon and you will be in the running for a chance to win a two night stay with breakfast for two. Details for this giveaway can be found here.

With your help, we can make a better life and a brighter future for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – a world without Parkinson’s tomorrow.
